Hotel rooms for 5

I've put this request on the travel board as well. We need to spend a night in Lisbon (flight arrives 8 pm Friday night to start a villa holiday the next day further up the coast). My children are not old enough to have their own room - if I absolutely have to I will book two rooms and we will each sleep with some children, but that would not be my first choice. Just wondering if anybody has good tips or suggestions, nice websites to check or even better has stayed somewhere in or around Lisbon with a suite, or a family room, or old-fashioned rooms with adjoining doors? I've not had to do this before, we have always shoehorned my youngest into a travel cot, but she is 3 so a bit beyond that now :(

Would you be able to book a room with two double beds and fit 3 kids in one bed. We managed it once when the kids were younger - not sure how old yours are. You could put 2 at one end and one at the other !
We have done adjoining rooms too and it worked well but was a bit stressful before we got there as wasn't convinced they had got the booking right !

I am sure we couold but I haven't - yet - managed to find anywhere with two doubles. Good idea thouh (or to be honest the little one will happily sleep with me and DH. Do I book it as 2+2 then and just not mention the third child?

I usually do and not had any problems yet !
