dcs are 18,9,7 and 5 and if we have sandwiches at lunch i can say goodbye to up to 2 whole loaves at the moment if i include the bread used as toast !

i desperately need some other ideas that will fill them up.bear in mind we are quite an active familyso needs to be filling and big!

rice with onions in a curry sauce
lentils and rice, especially if made with brown rice
pasta salad
pea and ham soup with soda bread
pasta with cheese and leeks
cheese and potato pie
spicy potatoes in wraps
spanish omelette
savoury bread and butter pudding
scrambled tofu with rice or noodles

These are all things that we have regularly for lunch in here.

Flapjacks are cheap to make and are a healthy, filling snack for them, if you add dried fruit.

Sainsburys do economy part baked bread rolls/sticks. My teenagers love these for lunch. They cost about 50p for a pack of two. Mine can't manage more than one each at most.
