Mine are 5 3 and 2, and all play well together. I just find the constant noise really difficult to cope with. It's great to see them all having such a great time together, but it feels like I can't do anything else, and I'm waiting for them to go to bed. Does anyone else find this ? Anyone got any advice ?

Well, regarding the noise I have noticed that DC2 has been screeching and shouting on purpose inside the house, which he isn't allowed at nursery btw. It is a proper cry for attention, and of course there s always a backdrop of a grizzly ... We now all need to use our indoor voices, including me :-)

Yes and I sometimes also can't wait until they are all in bed but try to remember that the years are short and the days are long. Basically I try to enjoy them most of the time..

Backdrop of a grizzly baby

Yes! I pretty much always have a headache by the end of the day.

Mine all argue as well. Funnily enough they end up sleeping in the same bed most nights out of choice but they fight like cats and dogs. I also have a 13 year old who never speaks quietly, he has had his hearing checked which is fine but he is loud it is untrue.

Yes. I remember when I used to have the radio or television on for background noise. Now I can't stand it.

Absolutely, on the very rare occasion I´m home alone or home with my 1yr old sleeping I try to take a few minutes to savour the silence. By bed time I just want everyone to be quiet! :)
