Contraception methods - pros & cons

just that really.
I never used contraception, because we wanted a big family.

as things are If I got pregnant again DH would be ok with it, but he'd rather avoid having any more children.

I'm undecided. I don't feel that "I'm done", but have daily battles with myself about this.

some days I think let's have 1 or 2 more, no problems and the thought of not having any more babies/kids upsets me a lot..

some days I get fed up with the 6 we have already.

I really don't know what to do or even if I want to actively avoid getting pregnant yet or at all.

so please tell me what methods worked for you, pros and cons, did you get pregnant despite contraception - anything and everything...

I need advice, please!

I have four kids. I was on cilest f(pill) for years. Had to come off due to high blood pressure. Then I went on the mini pills (about 3 different types) hated them as you do not have a break with them (period). I also started having acne beacause of the pill

I am not on the pill at present. Using condom at present.

Still thinking about a more suitable method to used. I do not want anything put into my body.

Watching this space at present for comments.

I have tried several different pills over the years but they all caused PMT symptoms and made me a nightmare to live with. Since giving up with them we have always used condoms because my DH agrees he doesn't think it is healthy for me to be putting hormones into my body.

Thinking of giving the coil a try after I have this child. You can get one that doesn't release hormones and it lasts for 5 years. Will be visiting my Drs for contraceptive advice to find out more.

Try googling it. Thats what I did, but can't remember the websight. I got a list of all forms of contraception with the pros and cons of each. It was very helpfull.

What suits one person may not suit you, so you might have to try a few things before you find what works best for you. Good luck.

We use the LadyComp cycle computer for NFP. Really like it, as I won't use anything hormonal and we both dislike the faff and feel of condoms.

I was sterilised after dd4 during the c-section. I do hope it is working for me!
