Has space become more or less of a problem

We have 3 dc. 8, 5 and 4. Currently dds share big rm and ds has his own. We also have a loft room so they can all have their own room if need be.

We have been considering a move recently but we are unsure. My dilema is that atm this house fits ok but is it going to get worse as they get older and bigger? Or will they have lesss big toys etc and so this will balance things out?

Anyone experience of this?

I think where you are sounds fine.

You are right though that the need for space changes.

with younger ones you need more floor space for playing and toy storage.

With older ones the clothes and shoes are bigger but they have less toys.

Privacy become more of an issue. As does who controls the tv

Ha ha we already have the tv control issue!!

We have plenty of outdoor space and thinking we may build some sort of summer house/ garden rm / asylum so there is somewhere to go to get away. It would just be a studio really but have a tv etc so an extra bit of living space. I do think this might help for the teenage years if they can have friends round and use this rather than bring them into the pokey cottage!!
