Congratulations Smile

I have 6, 3 girls and 3 boys, ages 14, 12, 10, 7, 3 and 10 months.

The oldest 4 are super easy (although 2 have disabilites, one takes a lot of extra physical caring for).

I find the toddler and the baby very hard work at the minute....but then i alway's find toddler's hard work and my baby is super clingy at the moment. I walk around the house with him literally clinging to me leg !. So it is hard at the minute but only because the youngest 2 are the age's they are, i know in time it will get easier again.
I've grown used to running a laundrette and catering service as i'm sure you probably already are, so not much change on that front Smile

Awwww congratulations!!!

6 is great! and so is 7 and 8 Wink. More work (obviously) but also more fun, more playmates, more love and more cuddles.

I find when you have 4 or 5..the rest fit in nicely :)

I am sooooo jealous, i stupidly got my tubes tied after 8 :(

misdee · 01/11/2011 17:02

its been on the cards to get my tubes tied after #4 Blush but i knew i wasnt done yet.

i agree the older ones are easier now, its the ages between 1-6 that can be v v hard and tiring.

i have 4 dd's and just one ds. maybe this will be ds2 :)

Mine are

son is 4
twin girls are 3
twin boys are 6 months

Im finding the twin boys mega hard work at the mo, but they seem to not like sleep and like alot of cuddles - which is impossible!

I have 6 and love it. No harder than 5 or 4. Just more laundry.

Rikalaily · 08/11/2011 14:40

christie2 No harder than 5 or 4. Just more laundry.

Glad to hear the first bit, we are considering ttc no.5 atm. The laundry bit bothers me though, we are stuck with a washer/dryer and drowning in laundry atm as it is, lol. Will still have to give it more thought, would be pushing things financially if we have another but lack of money hasn't stopped us before, we always manage, lol.

Congrats!

It does really depend on age gaps of course, but I have six (five boys one girl) and its great Grin I agree that once you get past four it's easy to just take it all in your stride Grin storage space is a bloody nightmare though!

itfcbabe · 03/12/2011 17:59

I have 6,its loud,messy, have no money

BUT

also lots of fun, kids are rarely bored as they make up games with each other

they do gang up on me and hubby though

mybootsaremuddy · 03/12/2011 19:06

It can messy, knackering, noisy and at times hard bloody work! But we wouldnt have it any other wayGrin. There is also a lot of fun, laughter, love, cuddles and there is always someone to play with/chat to (or anoyGrin). My older DCs love helping with the little ones DD1 who would like to be a midwife when she grows up is fantastic and wants to help with EVERYTHING baby related.
We also get a lot of 'oh your dc are so well behaved/polite/helpful' comments from people who think that as we have so many dc they are going to be complete horrors and trash everthing in siteGrin.

My dcs are:
DD 11yrs
DS 10yrs
DN(we adopted) 6yrs
DS 19mths
DS 6mths
DD 6mths

We also have an angel DD who fell asleep 16/01/09.

I am opposite misdee..i am finding it harder with the older children, they don't stay where you put them, they answer back, and they stay up later...haha

How are you feeling?? Maybe it will be a lovely set of twins for you?? :)

Mine are

DD 18
DS 16
DS 13
DS 12
DS 10
DS 10
DD 7
DS 7

Chances of twins increase with the more children you have misdee ;)
