have you all followed a pattern with due dates?

So I am 36+3 with DC4 and clutching at straws. I wondered what everyone experience's were and if you followed any pattern?

I have been 40+5 with all the other 3, so has this been fluke or is this on going to be the same?

Congratulations! I thought there was a pattern after DC3 as each time got a bit earlier (41+7, 40+2, 39) so I was ready & waiting at 37wks

DD had other ideas & arrived at 40+12

Mine got later and later... Dc1 on due date, dc2 40+9 & both dc3&4 were induced at 40+12.... On the plus side each labour was shorter and shorter! good luck! 4 is fab!

I wouldn't worry about it at all! My sister was once 52-4 and her sister 41+1! Honestly if these numbers don't scare me, you shouldnt worry at all! At all!

I was all over the place, DD1 was 40+5, DD2 was 39+0, DD3 was 40+0 and DD4 was 40+2.

I thought they would each come earlier than the last one.

ds1 night before due date
ds2 morning after due date
ds3 2 days after due date

dd1 4 days early
dd2 on due date
dd3 on due date

dd1 39weeks
dd2 39+6
ds 39+2

I'm convinced that a pregnancy is actually linked to the length of your normal menstrual cycle rather than 40 weeks. Those with shorter cycles come earlier, those with longer ones come later. Purely observational and no scientific/medical knowledge whatsoever

eat I was wondering that . Although my cycle aren't that long 31 days I do think that ovulate late in my cycle about day 20 ish I think. Wondered if this might be why they have all been 5 days over.
It's all interesting and making the time pass a bit faster. I am trying to make myself think five days beyond due date but it's so hard not to get obsessed with it.
You would think by now i would have learn't my lesson.
