I am 3rd of 4. And the only girl.

I didnt think of it as a large family, although most of my friends only had 2 or 3 to their families... 4 seemed normal really.

I am one of 5 and the only girl. I was never conscious we were a large family until I was in my teens and everyone seemed to be from a family of two or three.

But I think children just accept what they know.

I am one of two but both my parents had large families. My mum is one of 7 and my dad one of 6 so we were always used to lots of family around. Family get together's have to be well organised as I have loads of cousins and we are now having our own children.

Large family's seem normal to me and being one of two alwalys felt tiny!! but with so many aunts and uncles (some nearer my age, than my parents) I love the feeling that there is always someone around to talk to Smile

i wouldnt consider a family of 4 a large one, im the eldest of 4, my mum always said she never felt "done" but mother nature prevented more babies!

my mum was second to last of 4 my nan lost 3 babies after the 4th so she obviously felt she wasnt done

ive got 4dc and we are in the future going to have more
the not feeling "done" i think is in the genes Grin
