4 under 3 - anyone else?

I just wondered if anyone else has a large family that are so young. I have 4 four boys - DS1 - 3 in Feb, DS2 & 3(ID twins): 22 months & DS4 - 3 weeks.

Most people I know have a civilised gap and three at most.

Everyone always asks me how I cope - it's chaos and hard work but I love having four. I also have a great family who help a lot.

Anyone else have four under 3? x

Not four under three, but I had three under three for three months! Then went on to have a couple more and have less then 6 years between my 5!!

I loved it! Yes, it was hard work, but good fun and hard work never hurt anyone, as my mum always said!

Have to admit though that the teenage years have been a bit tougher. 5 teenagers at the same time. 4 being girls and sometimes it feels like hormone city!!

Wow! Can only imagine what hard work it must be! I have 4 (12, 10, 3 and 10 months) so older two do help out which makes things easier. The hardest thing I feel is the constant guilt I have that I am not spending enough quality time which each of them. Any tips on dealing with that?

I have 6dcs, 3 of them are 3 and under, others are 12yr old, 10yr old, and soon-to-be 7yr old.

Liz, I know what you mean about feeling guilty, I have times during the day when its just me and 'a' dc. so that they all are able to tell me about their day without someone chipping in. Introducing staggered bedtimes helped.

Will watch with interest as I have DS who is 3 (4 in march) twin girls who are 2.5 and expecting twin boys in may but could be here sooner!

I have 6dc they are curently 10yrs, 9yrs, 4yrs 3yrs and twins that are 1 in a weeks time, this time last year I was wondering how I was going to cope with two newborn babies a 2yr old and a three year old. It is amazing how fast the year has flown by.

Almost... My eldest 2 are 12 & 9, but my 3 youngest are 5, 3, 19 months and due again in June... My 5 year old also has Downs Syndrome too, so this puts her approx at the same as the 3 year old ( a little younger in lots of ways) So come June yes I will have the equivalent to 4 dc 3 and under...
