I know that its a time for the family. I would really like to go away. Last year we did some entertaining.

As to present I have started getting bits and bobs.

What are you planning or looking forward to?

Hear from you soon Smile

Yes! I can't stand the darker evenings so I look forward to when I can decorate the house and cheer things up a bit. And I like the festive get-togethers and the excuse to stuff my face with goodies.

I've already bought my Xmas cards and have bought a couple of things too. Spreads the cost.

not really..Don't like Christmas all the hype and expectation and stress for one day and DH is working Christmas Day, Boxing Day, 27th and 28th. Dad's dementia is so bad he won't know its Christmas and I don't know whether to have him here or just visit him on another day.

I LOVE it!!!!! I love the kids faces when they see presents under the tree, I love the smell of the turkey cooking when you get up, I love the mayhem of opening all the presents! We take it in turns, one year at home with my family here, the next in Southampton at inlaws, and either way its lovely Grin This year we are here, I love that my kids are still young enough to fill their heads with nonsense about father christmas, and all that Grin

We always enjoy lovely food during this time. Love the family time together.

Anyone doing anything different this Christmas?
