Hoping all you larger families can help. DS1 and 2 were in a rough routine by 6 weeks I'm sure??!!! ie feeding roughly every 2-3 hours in the day. I did do stuff to get the routine going - no controlled crying but used dummy and played with them alot to distract them but Ds3 is feeding hourly mostly sometimes 2 hourly. So do I try and do this with him (have not the energy or time really!) or do subsequent children just get fed to keep them quiet and therefore end up snacking all day/night long? He does give me three hours at one point at night sometimes....

are you breastfeeding? only that you need to make sure you have enough rest and calories to produce milk to keep him sustained, that was definitely my problem with ds3, I remember him seeming a lot hungrier than the other 2 probably because I was burning off too many calories chasing them around Smile How old is ds3 and how old are other 2? I had 18 months in between each of mine so it was a bit of a blur but will try and see if I can remember what kind of rountine they had....
