Would love to hear more! Any moments of joy to share?

My daughter and her friends signed up to do a stall at the culture day on Thursday. They decided to do a Jewish stall. Because the world is so complicated, I actually reached out to the other parents to make sure they knew what they were signing up for as my daughter hasn’t always had the best time at school with this right now. They were lovely and encouraging and wonderful. My daughter and two friends spent all afternoon yesterday baking for it and packing up dreidels and books and all sorts. I’m so very proud of her.

(I am actually also super anxious about it but trying to focus on the good)

That sounds amazing (the food looks delicious too). I hope it all goes well for your daughter and her friends.

Mine's very small but I'm visiting Israel in a few months and have mentioned it to some friends/people at work. Everyone has responded positively and asked about plans or mentioned what they liked about it when they visited.

Funny rather than positive, but I'm still laughing about it from last night so need to share!

My youngest child was getting ready for bed and was about to take his pants off when he all of a sudden stopped. "Mummy... Can Hashem see every thing?"
"What do you mean?"
"Is he going to see my willy if I take my pants off?"

@Humdingerydoo asking the important questions 😂

How did it go @PurpleThistle7? Did they have a good time?

PurpleThistle7 · 13/02/2026 10:43

@ErroltheSwampDragon Aw thanks for asking. They had a blast and it went super well. I was so anxious about it but everyone was lovely.

Awww purple that’s brilliant! And those rogelach look so professional!

i heard a van going by blasting Purim and Adar music earlier. That was fun! It was probably Chabad 😄

I have been invited to a Purim celebration next week which i am looking forward to.

Otherwise, my parents are in Australia. My dad wears his kippur sometimes but yesterday the owner of the cafe pulled up a chair and sat with them for a chat and to just express support and good wishes.
