And that her children are being raised Jewish! It's such a simcha that Pesach, the High Holidays, and Hanukkah will be celebrated at number 10.

Yes, they've received a lot of hate because of it since October 😏

That's so lovely I didn't know that.
Imagining the smell of chicken soup wafting out from no 10!

It's giving me a really warm feeling about them as a family. Read about it a couple of years ago.

Yeah I just read about Keir saying that after 5, every single Friday they put phones and work away and it's always family time. I smiled when I read they keep shabbat even if it's in their own way.

I bet there are many frothing at the mouth because of this 🙂

I really like her. Smart and strong yet grounded and unassuming. Embraces the Jewishness.

And on a more shallow note, I can't wait to see more of her wardrobe after that spectacular red dress. There's a lovely black version of it but I can't find a way to justify the spend on it.😂

This is even bigger than Rishi Sunak placing Divali lights in the porch of No 10. This is even more than a non-Christian PM openly practicing his faith. This is the PM openly participating in and supporting the practice of one of the smallest, yet most maligned, faiths.

It's massive for us (including those of us who don't follow the faith) and I am so here for it!

But I don't see how it's bigger than it was for the UK having it's first Hindu PM. As much as I don't like the guy, I think the significance of what that symbolised is quite underestimated given the recent history of racism directed towards Hindus in this country by the right wing electorate.
