Thanks for sharing that article, it's awful - although according to posters on that thread, folk don't have a problem with Jews 'in general' and actually antisemitism is in our head because we have a victim complex (one Jewish person told them apparently so that made it an alright thing to say)! Or something like that.

I need someone to literally sit on me if I see another accusation of Israel basically crying wolf and the word anti-Semitism therefore having lost its meaning. I'm a bit worried about what I'll say next time I see it

I keep peeking back in, i don’t know why as it just upsets me frankly, I’m not sure what is more ridiculous, the accusation we’re all imagining the hate, because of “ persecution complex” or antisemitism having apparently got a brand new definition.

Awful news from Dagestan, for both Jews and Christians.

I totally get the need to keep checking back. I was like this with the entire CITME board at the beginning. I just couldn't believe what I was reading and kept looking at the board, I don't even know why - initially I tried to challenge things but quickly saw there was no point. It's so depressing but at the same time I felt that I needed to know what views are out there so I could be prepared for coming across them in real life - sounds mad, I know.

Anyway, I've stopped reading now and I'm glad. Some of the people posting there are just awful and want to provoke a reaction, it's just so transparent. Horrible when these threads pop up elsewhere on MN and of course Twitter is full of it but at least you can avoid anyone you don't like on there!

The attacks in Russia sound awful. All these things - which are happening all over the world - make more more convinced than ever of the need for Israel.
