How would you pronounce this? Mycah or Meekah? Also would you pronounce the ‘c’ like you would in Chanukah or Chutzpah?

It’s for a cat not a child btw, not that it makes a difference when it comes to how to say it. Thanks.

The only Micah i know is Micah Paris and her name is pronounced meesha.

Thanks Gingergran. I know some girls called that too. Micah was a prophet in the Bible, so definitely a male name too and I love it. But I don’t trust the online pronounciations. I totally forgot there are a couple of acquaintances who read Hebrew and 2 speak Ivrit. I’ll run it past them.

I don’t want him to feel at a disadvantage by not knowing how he should pronounce his name. He’s had a rough enough time of it by the sounds of it.
