I am doing mishloach manot last min dot com. Making a bunch of biscuits and then debating whether to make some babkas or just go simple and make choc cakes. Can you tell I haven’t really planned this at all?! Kids ones are sorted tho!

Purim sameach! I've got hamantaschen in the oven...never made them before so hope they will turn out ok.

I use my own variation on Claudia Roden's recipe for the poppyseed filling, and @leafinthewind 's recipe for the pastry. Cadbury's chocolate spread also makes an excellent filling. It sets solid after baking.

Anybody dressing up? I always love seeing what our generally dignified, elderly Rabbi is going to wear 🤣

I usually wear a Wonder Woman costume :) this year I’m in leopard print (not a costume, I just have a lot of leopard print in my wardrobe 🤣) so I put it all together

My go-to when I've left it to the last minute (you know how it is, children's costumes and baking and excuses excuses 😆) is pyjamas and dressing gown, accessorised with a rubber duck or other bathroom accessory.

Mine are filled with lotus biscuit spread 🤮. Kids choice, not mine!

Good idea, I might steal this! Have completely failed to plan a costume this year.

Lotus spread buttercream is fabulous, as is lotus biscuit cake.

Have made some mini mocha cakes for mm in the end, and a bigger Bundt cake for the seuda, some choc biscuits and it’s been a random scramble😅

I wore a bowler hat today. Not terribly out there but all I had to hand.

Late to the party, but hope everyone had an amazing Purim!

We were in Manchester, staying with some friends over Shabbat and then Purim. Absolute bedlam! We chickened out of the street party at Stenecourt because it was so loud and busy. Amazing atmosphere though.
