When you're glad an attack isn't antisemitism!

My poor DH was punched yesterday walking home through the park, by a drunk/thug. The thug called him a "P*ki" and told him to go back to his own country. DH is dark complexioned and had his hood up over his kippah, so it was clearly not an antisemitic thing, which we were glad about. But then we realised how mad it is that we're glad it was "just" a misplaced racial attack, like he had on a bus late last year.

Thankfully he's fine - he does krav maga so wasn't scared of the guy - just a bit shaken.

Strange times.

That was meant to say, the verbal abuse he got on a bus late last year WAS antisemitic.

Poor guy. I hope he's OK and you are both not too shaken up. Strange times, indeed.

I hope you are both ok. I often wonder how this all is going to end .
