Is anyone else considering it or doing it?

I've applied for the children's British passports today, with a view to then applying for Israeli ones for them (DH is British Israeli) then aliyah for me.

Not sure of the timescale, but it feels more and more urgent to have paperwork in place.

I have a couple of friends who did it, and both ended up coming back to U.K. Have you ever lived in Israel, or spent a long time there? I found it an amazing place to live (I lived in Tel Aviv) but also very stressful. I was there on a short term contract. My one friend who stayed was determined to make it work and not live in an English speaking environment (which it is very easy to do), but she was very young when she went.
