Professional organization's disappointing statement

Two weeks after the Hamas terrorist attack my professional organization (not UK) put out a statement that essentially said we recognize there is suffering on both sides and to look out for each other at 'this time of conflict'. I appreciate the intention but it does not go far enough to recognize the extent of the atrocities and the repercussions felt within the Jewish community. I'd like to point this out in a constructive way. Has anyone's company or professional organization done a good job with a statement? Can anyone suggest wording that would satisfy a diverse, likely left-leaning group?

I'm sorry you've not had any replies here. Whilst I am not able to help I'm bumping this.

I don't know. My work has not put out any statement at all. The subject has not come up officially, and when people have spoken to me about it in private I have said that it is not something I can talk about at work. I have actually shut down any conversations about Israel, even though I was happy to talk about it before. A couple of my colleagues are practicing Muslims (AFAIK I am the only Jew). I do not know what their feelings are about the current situation. But I believe we must behave with strict neutrality at work, however strong our feelings are. My colleagues' and my interactions have not changed at all, and that is how it needs to be. Tomorrow I will be part of a Bring Them Home demo, but I will not mention it at work.

The other reason I will not talk about the war at work is that I will cry. Or get angry. Either would be unprofessional, as would allowing conflicting politics or beliefs to negatively influence work relations.

I wonder whether that's what your company's objective is with their statement.
