Junior ISA

ive opened an junior isa, it’s now asking me what to invest in. Any ideas welcome as I don’t have a clue! It’s £3000.

Oh god, I hated this with hargreaves lansdown!! Had no idea! I swapped my kids ones to the then Nutmeg- now JP Morgan. It asked me questions about the risks I wanted, the ethics etc and invested for me.
They are doing very well BTW!

Easy answer: All world index fund

Better answer so you can make your own decisions: Learn about the difference between risk and volatility. Think about how long the money is put away for before your DC will want to use it. Look at the graphs of a few all word funds. Notice the dips and understand why they happened. Eg Trump tarrif dip in April, Covid dip. Notice that the market recovered and grew after the dip and how long the recovery took.
