It’s definitely a good idea to learn about investing before you start, and the good news is that there are lots of excellent materials online. Lots of people swear by the Rebel Finnace School or Meaningful Money. They’re both very accessible and don’t overcomplicate things.

You need to do some good research or get professional advice if you are going to invest any serious money just to give yourself a basic understanding of where you wantbto invest your hard earned. Theres some fantastic youtube channels that whilst not giving financial advice explain how investing works and different places you can put your money.
