Hi,
I have £500 I want to move of my children’s savings. Is it worth putting in stocks and shares and if so how do I do this?

Is it in a cash ISA at the moment or just a normal cash savings account?
If in a cash ISA then you would need to transfer it to a Stocks and Shares ISA using the transfer in option. You would need to ensure that the account you opened accepts transfers. If it is in a normal account you would open the stocks and shares isa and then pay it in.
As long as you are planning to leave the mo ey for a minimum of 5 years, but preferably longer then yes it is worth doing. Are you planning on adding to the initial amount over the years?
