Company shares -- what to do when moving jobs?

Just this really. I have some company shares and considering a new position. Can I move these to another platform for easy access in the future? What do pearls do?
I do not want to sell as the fess and tax are quite high.

Depends whether they are in a scheme or not, you should ask your company.

Shares are worthless if you will never sell them so you are always going to have to pay fees and potentially capital gains tax

Is the company listed or private? Are these the actual shares or share options? If share options do you keep them if you leave? Probably not. If tax high then that means lots of gains so a good thing. Presumably you hope they go up in value more which will be even more tax. What are the fees you’re referring to? Is it through an approved HMRC scheme or not as this will impact the tax. What is the market for the shares to sell on? Just questions at this stage I’m afraid.

Yes, I get matching shares from the company so I don't get these if I sell. Hence I want to get hold of them a bit longer. I will need to read the term and conditions closely!

I doubt you get/keep your matching shares if you leave
