Obviously one could make money
And one doesnt make money but option of winning..

If you already had a ' standard isa '

Would u premium bonds purchase
Or stocks and shares isa ?

I prioritise my stocks and shares ISA, but it’s currently worth less than I out in and the small amount I put into premium bonds is worth exactly the same as I put in… but long term the ISA should win out.

It depends what the money is for and how long you are happy to lock it away for.

How much would you put in? I think you need at least £30k in Premium Bonds to win regularly.

Are you comfortable taking a risk on losing money? How long can you lock it away? If you will need to access the money in the next 5 to 10 years then stocks and shares ISA probably not best. If you can put it in and leave it for 5 to 10 years then stocks and shares ISA will be better. Might be best keeping it in a decent paying cash ISA.
What is your tax position and what is your income? Without this information nobody can really advise. It may be that you don't actually need the tax wrapper of an ISA depending on your income and savings amount.
Either way premium bonds would be the last thing I would put money into after i had maxed out everything else. Premium bonds are more likely to erode the value of the capital than any other savings type.
