I'm curious as to what everyone's won and how often? Thinking of joining

There’s a long running thread on this on money matters. Have a look there. Here’s the latest one https://www.mumsnet.com/talk/money-matters/5243704-premium-bonds-jan-25

It depends on how many bonds you have. My DD was lucky and recently won £100 on only owning £1000 bonds.

Most of the time you’ll win nothing unless you have thousands of bonds. It’s something like a 25000:1 chance

If you have the max holding you can, on average, expect a 4.15% return over time (at the current rate; if the BoE gets inflation under control that's likely to drop back to 1.5% or so). But that average hides a wide range of real returns, and the shorter the timescale or smaller the holding, the greater likely divergence from average.

The attraction is that winnings are tax free and the capital is quite quick to access, rather than the size of the return.
