How can I make £8k in a year, I'm already working two jobs but want to buy my own house, any tips?

Match betting should make a few grand

The point of matched betting is that you don’t lose anything. It is a pain in the arse though, you’d need to be very committed to make a couple of grand

That's not how matched betting works - it's not gambling. You use bonuses to make a bet then hedge it with another bet so you literally cannot lose.

If you make hedged bets, do you not always just break even?

Because those hedged bets get you free offers which you then bet and hedge - one of which will win, and the stake was free. So free money.

You literally can't lose doing matched betting correctly. You obviously don't know what you're talking about.

But as far as I can see you can only make up to the free bets someone gives you. The back bet and lay bets cancel each other out and I guess there will be commission in there somewhere. If you are looking for small amounts of extra income may be worth doing if you can get a good amount of free bets.

I have heard that if you bet big enough you can get lots of freebies, I guess try it and see, but for the odd £30 quid it looks like a bit of work.

I would focus on increasing income but that might take months if not years.
Can you upskill yourselves by investing a course ?

I would avoid betting, lottery tickets etc! I would also try to minimize the outgoings - check the thread of budgeting, personal finance here.
