How do you spend it? Has anyone tried the prepaid debit card and just used it like a normal debit card? Should that then be declared on a tax return?

If you own any crypto the best thing to do is sell it and buy some magic beans. They have greater long term value.

I am not familiar with prepaid debit cards.

However, if you buy crypto and then later sell it at a profit in £ terms then the profit will need to be declared on your tax return as capital gains if it exceeds your capital gains allowance.

Lottery tickets and betting slips don't have any long term value. That doesn't mean you can't win on them in the short term.

You just have to understand that you are gambling, and the risks that come with gambling.

I've been using Plutus crypto cashback rewards debit card since 2021. It's registered in UK and the products are available for residents in UK and Europe.

They've a crypto token PLU which they refer to as a loyalty rewards token (and not as a cryptocurrency).
