Where to put my endowment!

I had an endowment mortgage, endowment has matured mortgage got rolled over and will run for another couple of years at low interest rate.

The endowment performed poorly and will clear less than 1/2 the mortgage, I’d appreciate any advice as to the best place for the endowment for the next couple of years.

Are you paying the capital on the mortgage now or is it still interest only? What's the plan to pay off the balance?
Not really possible to answer the original question without lots more info, how much is it, what do you plan for do with it and when, what other savings you have etc.

Mortgage is very small and will be cleared with this and other funds.
it is interest only. The endowment is also pretty small (think 20k) I can’t put it in a an ISA (not in UK currently)
im thinking a 1 year high interest account is probably my only realistic option?
