How ouch does each bond cost?

User63847484848 · 06/07/2023 20:03

I’m quite confused, I don’t remember having premium bonds but I do have an ns&i linked savings index account or something. And I did win £25 a couple of months ago so I obviously do have bonds of some sort! Is the ns&i savings account effectively the bonds? I know at the time I could into get £10,000’s worth.

Google is your friend!

Pro rata for the year ~2% return. A bank would pay more.

Premium bonds are one of the worst 'investments' ever in my opinion, whilst government backed, tax free and safe the average returns are pitiful and deflationary.

Whilst the odd win here or there might be fun, thrilling and a novelty. There are much better and financially sensible solutions to protect your money and have it work for you.

@Brumbies

Thanks, it's really good to know Google is my friend.

But mumsnet is my oracle.
