Separated couple selling house…

Im due to view a property tomorrow and have come to find out the owners are selling due to a separation/divorce.

In this situation are they most likely to want every penny possible and sell to the highest bidder or sell to first time buyers with flexibility although they haven’t offered the most? Would a separated couple prefer a quick no hassle sale or wouldn’t mind waiting to squeeze every penny?

There’s no way I’ll be able to ask/find out, what do you guys think?

I bought from a divorcing couple.. they pretended they weren’t in a hurry, but then tried to rush through exchange, and then bring the completion forward as well.
.I doubt your vendors would be happy to be in limbo for longer than necessary plus one party might need the sales proceeds for their new home

It's just impossible to know unfortunately. They could be in a hurry to sell and move on, they could be holding out for an unrealistic sale price because that's what they need in order to buy new properties... Or it could be that one of them wants to sell and one doesn't in which case it could really drag on.
