Ethical funds

Has anyone invested in an ethical fund? I did so a few years ago and it’s done well. I’d be interested in other people’s experiences. Happy to share the fund details if anyone is interested.

I have and it's performed way better than I ever imagined. it's become so popular that my pension provider has actually decreased their annual fee as more people are using the product.

Yes I was surprised at how well my ethical fund has done. I’m thinking of selling off a couple of “ dog funds” and putting the money into a different ethical fund to spread the money around a bit. But wondering if that’s risky, although I can’t see why it would be riskier than putting the money into a better performing conventional fund?

Why the hell would you keep a dog?!!! Get rid

Thanks @Dindundundundeeer. Misguided sentimentality, I inherited them from my mum. Come to think of it she’d want me to get rid Smile.

Hello, I would be interested in your ethical fund recommendations please. I'm trying to live a generally ethical life and this would be a good achievement.

Royal London is about the best on the general funds. Their CIO is ex-Cooperative and the most convincing fund manager I’ve come across.

Eden Tree was OK,

Lots of green wash out their.

Don’t write off index funds, big buyers have clout and ESG is very topical.

My fund is with Aberdeen standard it’s UK ethical equity. Although it has gone up significantly on. The last 12 months so maybe set for a “ correction”?
The Morningstar website is useful in identifying and assessing funds. There’s also Sustainable (as opposed to ethical) which is worth thinking about. I’ll be looking into Royal London.
