Every little helps if you can afford to lock it away, and the earlier you start with something the more time that lovely compound growth has to work.

I think it's a good way to start if you haven't had a S&S Isa before. It's interesting to track the value of the fund daily too (although of course, investments are for long term not for short term returns).

Yes. The fees are low and as long as fund performance is higher than inflation plus costs then your money grows.

Getting in to the habit of putting money in on a regular basis helps. Aim to increase what you pay in ever 3 months or so even if that is £10 more.
