Apps for trading shares

My son is doing virtual share trading apps and loving it.

He would love to do some small scale real trading. He hasnt spent any money this year with lockdown and doesnt have anything he wants to buy so could risk a couple of hundred pounds. As he is still under 18 I understand it would need to be in our names.

Is there any app he could use that would guarantee that the most he could lose would be whatever he invested so he cant invest money he doesnt have and so we dont risk losing our house if he gets addicted.

No - with FreeTrade - you only trade with cash you have.
