Selling a personalized number plate

Can anyone advise how I go about selling a personalized registration plate from my vehicle? I have no idea how much it is worth. Just wanting to make a bit of extra money whilst in maternity leave. We got the plate with the vehicle when we bought it over 5 years ago.

My old boss got over literally 15 grand for a very average plate!!

DH has registered his for sale with an online company, its pretty average though and it hasn’t resold so unless it’s great don’t count on the money in a hurry.
