British Airways avios business class amount

Hi everyone

Is there anyone here who understands how the avios system works?

So I have 20,000 points however I am hoping to get around 50,000 before my big trip. I will be happy to pay for business seats and use a mixture of points too.

So if I was to travel on a one way business flight from London to Los Angeles, would I be able to book my flights and use my points and pay off the rest of the balance with money?

Im seeing reward flights on my app but they are ridiculously expensive in points, it was around £3,500 cash and 250,000 avios points. That was return for me and my Husband in April.

Yes. IIRC the website actually asks you if you want to use X Avios to get £X off the cost.

Just log into your Executive club account, and then you can select Book with Money, Upgrade with Avios. For next April, thats £1250 plus 25000 points each.
