Funding Circle Investment Account

Myself and my DP are on a mission to improve our finances. I've spent quite a bit of time on MSE and one thing that got my attention was Funding Circle.

The minimum initial deposit seems to be £1000.

Does anyone have an investment with them? If so can you share your experiences?

Hi - Yes, I've been investing with Funding Circle for around a year. Easy to set up and easy to make regular investments - all online as you'd expect. There are 2 options for level of risk you are prepared to accept - I went for the higher one. I haven't reperformed the calculation, but it says my return is 6.3%. I was initially surprised at what felt like quite a high level of bad debt, but on reflection, it isn't really that high (nearly £300 on a £11,000 investment) and I'm happy with the return I'm getting. I haven't tried to take money out since opening the account, so not sure how liquid the investment is. I'm looking at it as a long term investment. Any questions, give me a shout.
