Martin Shkreli, dubbed 'Americas most hated man' by BBC news was sentenced to 7 years in jail in 2016 for fraud. He is widely known for raising the price of a life saving AIDs drug from $13.50 to $750 per pill, overnight.
It has just come to light that the Valeant Pharmaceuticals have been quietly working behind the scene to appeal Shkreli's sentence and have invested millions in legal fees.
Shkreli could be now released in a matter of months.
