Anyone challenged them and succeeded?

They issue dividend cheques for two stock holdings and have sent them to the wrong address for years. I called to sort this out and request reinvestment of income and I was told they would charge £90 to reissue an uncashed out of date cheque for £300.

Can you prove that you informed them of your address change previously? If so, and they still sent the cheques to the wrong address, then any complaint will almost certainly be successful.

Otherwise, if you neglected to tell them of the address change, then you’ll need to ask very nicely and hope that they’re kind. However from experience, Equiniti are not terribly generous.
