I have been really stupid and I think I have been scammed.

I have been worried about money for some time now. There have been a lot of financial strains. I wanted to help. I came across a Dragons Den advert in the internet for bitcoin trading. I impulsively invested £250. It was meant to be an auto trading logarithm that did everything in my behalf. Then I started getting phone calls saying that I wouldn't make money that way and that I needed to put a stop on the auto trade. Which I did. I'd lost about £10 at this point. Then this trader kept saying that he wanted to trade for me. I decided I wanted my money back. He said that wasn't possible as I hadn't turned the auto trade off and now I was down £190. I don't know what this means. I turned that function off. Does his mean I owe money? Please help me and please don't flame me. I don't know what to do. I can't even find the website now.

Hi,

Unfortunately it does sound like you have been scammed. As soon as you said you wanted the money back the person should of gave you it back as soon as he withdrew it, any losses from that point the seller/investor would need to reimburse you for. If they are a scammer though they will go quiet on you and basically keep the money.
You may need to chalk it up to experience and only invest with reputable people/companies. Due diligence and all.
