Does anyone have any share tips for the UK Stockmarket ?
Looking to invest around £1000...

Dribble feed over a period of time to even out the rise and falls.
Avoid single stocks, look at funds. Spread risk.

£1000? When is it for?

Without being rude £1k would indicate you don't have much money. Don't risk it unless you're happy to see it drop 15% and not rise for 7.... could happen.

If so, Vanguard. Invest on their platform Lifestyle 80.

Or on the other platforms which can be cheaper.
