DD1 has a CTF with The Children's Mutual which was opened with a government voucher in 2006. Since that time we have moved abroad with my husband's job, he has a 5 year contract with the European Commission. DD2 was born overseas in 2010 and the Children's Mutual have advised that we are not able to open her a CTF or a Junior ISA in the UK because we're not currently resident.
We don't want to open a savings account for her in this country as we would prefer the fund to be in sterling. We will be moving back to the UK in a few years' time and would like her to have access to a similar account to DD1 when she reaches 16,
I'd be really grateful for recommendations on what type of account we can open for her in the UK whilst we are temporarily overseas. We have an address in the UK, we also have our own bank accounts in the UK from which we can transfer money into both DDs' accounts.
