Anyone care to explain advantages\disadvantages?

I am watching (and invested in 1 or 2) certain stocks which I feel will do quite well this year.... and thinking of popping them into an ISA.

I know I can do this... but know little else. Whilst I poodle off to do more research, any advice\comments in the meantime would be great. Cheers Smile

evening Awubble.... ha ha... you are funny! You say be careful with CRND, too much risk for you and in the next breath you buy into another risky stock. what are we like, eh!

I'll go take a look at your Oracle Coalfields....but all monies tied up for a while. Least till they make a profit in the next month or so, enough for me to leave a few free shares behind.

Slow week this week, eh. bit boring too. SOU struggling last\this week, but not desp. bad. Im hoping for another upturn soon. That would be nice.

Im watching DES big time, now that they have spudded Ninky. I have so much tied up in here, in a big loss too. Wretched company that they are. I so hope I can make some money back soon. That;s all I want... my stake back then I'm outta there. Might put a few bob back into RKH... it's drifting a bit at the mo - RKH - but posters believe that sealion is Mahoooosive! We shall see.

Still tyring to work out what to put in the Self select ISA. I work during the day, so it is hard. Plus evenigns at the moment are taken up with hunting a summer holiday. Unelss we get some profit we aint going anywhere Sad a day at butlins will be our lot LOL Grin

Earlybird - you taken a look at Monitise? I was in and holding for seemed like forever. Got bored and moved money elsewhere. Seem they are on the move again. I have no money to get back in, but certainly going places, this one.

PS, not sure I have an exact strategy planned out, other than to pick up tips and jump aboard before the stock hits a spike, and out before everyone else dumps.

Not very good at this though. I'm an utter novice, and no real time to educate myself further. But still... it's a bit of fun, and ever so exciting when you win some. Like the penny slot machines at the fair, eh! LOL Grin

Nothing has risk like CRND right now ! CRND is riskier than a risky walk in risky town on risk night whilst carrying a risky thing ! ...seriously, i'd rather buy a kebab, more chance of a return ! That said ....there is a lot of gold in that land....but if you can't get it, its just mud, and acidic water!

Level2 is alright, not particularly useful for aim stocks as they are mostly all market maker trades but it is useful for knowing where the next step up/down might be and finding an in or out. Some of mine use sets which makes it a bit more useful but not a whole lot so. I was wondering whether it was worth the bother but i think i might try MoneyAM and see what their extra's have to offer for a similar price before i reconsider.

SEA own some of LOGP and i liked the look of them enough to spend time researching enough to cover the owners and came across SEA and the news they had just released. It's my opinion of a perfect buy, upside potential is huge, downside was quite small so im in quite heavily and with the rise last week i have a comfort zone for it to fluctuate in so im a happy bunny....Watching very carefully.

oh..btw..im not a Mrs...didn't mean to let you think i was, i was a sahd for a long time and found this place useful then and, well, i quite like it so hang around a bit.

Oh well.

k thx bye

what's up awubble? How things been for you? Not much excitement going on my end, purely cos I dont have funds to move around. Sit n watch time for a while I think.

But we did book up our summer hols to Corfu, so something to look forward to. We are happy with cheap n cheerful, and the kids are happy diving in a pool all day... whilst we sup ice cold beer and read those forgotten dusty books, you always say you will get round to one day Grin

Work has been manic, and I've getting home shattered. think Im looking forward to the Easter hols... but then again, with two highly energetic kids.. I'm not so sure Shock

What are your plans for the hols?
