Having seen a link on mumsnet for this, I am interested in lending money via it

I've been lending through Zopa for about 18 months. Haven't had a single non-payer yet. Returns are better than you'd get with a savings account. I use the 'auto-lending' feature, so have never made any of my own decisions as to who to lend to. I think if you lend on the 'Zopa Marketplace' there's potential to charge higher interest (as you may be lending to bigger risks) but of course also greater potential for defaulting.
