I have been going back and forth in my head about doing another ivf cycle. I have so far done 4 egg retrievals, 1 fresh transfer with a poorer quality embryo from cycle 2, 1 fet from an embryo that was frozen back in 2021 which ended in a chemical pregnancy and 1 day 6 embryo fet from cycle number 2 and i MC at 7 weeks. I have not created embryos from the last 2 cycles or from my first cycle, I only created 2 embryos on my second cycle which wernt the greatest of quality. This time im having a medication change and i wont be starting the pill in preparation. A part of me is thinking im wasting my time and finances because what really is going to be different and the other part of me wants to give the new medications a try. I do already have children but really would like one more but already coming to the realisation that it may not be possible. Im 41 and going through perimenopaus. My husband is 100% in, all the way, he wants to see what could be different with a change of meds and a change of cycle, its me that is questioning it and has lost all faith. Iv tried everything down to trying to lose some weight, diet change, caffeine and sugar cut, being more active, trying to reduce stress, taking all the supplemets under the sun. This time im taking a bit of a step back, im not restricting myself, im not worried about what im eating or drinking or current state of activity. I think though that I have decided if I have another failed cycle then I wont keep going. Where is everyone else up to in this journey and what thoughts are going through your mind?
