Where can I get Clomid without expensive clinic treatment?

Hi I'm wanting to know if anyone can tell me of there's a way I can get clomid from anywhere other that clinics that cost a fortune. We've gone rounds before and last two cma so close we lost 2 babies at 10 weeks. See I don't have periods often so I get provera but I need clomid to make me ovulate. And I cant find it anywhere. I'm 35 and doctor said I don't have much time left so I'm feeling lost. All I want is to be a mummy xx

Are you in the UK? I had Clomid on NHS before I moved on to IVF. Can your GP refer you to a fertility specialist? Or can you get a private prescription for it? When I had Clomid with the NHS they wouldn't do monitoring (unlike friends who were having progesterone tests and ultrasounds) and suggested I do those privately and tell them the results. I think that particular clinic was pretty rubbish.

Yeah we had our round and didn't take then I fell on naturally after using the clomid I had left over but i miss carried at 10 week and then again at 6 weeks it's been 3 years now and nothing. It's only clomid that work I can't afford to go out private.... Been looking and hoping someone would have some left and sell them to me or there's a site I can buy from 😞🤞 xx

Sorry about your losses, it's understandable that you wish to get pregnant again soon.

People on here can't sell you any Clomid as it is prescription medication.

Assuming you are in the UK you can have a consult and prescription for between £36 and £70 privately depending on how many cycles they prescribe for you so it is available privately very affordably.

There may be some tests available via the NHS, possibly not leading to treatment but might lead to understanding if there are any issues that may have occurred since your previous successful pregnancy.

Some areas are also investigating miscarriages after 2 (used to be 3) so again there may be some help available to you via the NHS.

If you go to your doctors have very clear in your mind what you want and ask for it or even write a list of what has happened (change to the right details but)

Would like to be prescribed Clomid / blood tests for fertility / check thyroid (I think they say under 4 is okay but most fertility clinics say under 2.5) or a referral to recurrent miscarriage service.

Also you may ask for referral to talking therapy if you think it might help, there is a pregnancy loss board on this website too.

Ok hun thank you. I will try that and see what they say. I no my doctors are completely useless right now and in the middle of changing to somewhere else so hopefully will get some where x
