Hi everyone, I wanted to share something close to my heart with this group. After five years of trying — IUI, IVF, and eventually donor egg treatment (with trips to clinics in Madrid and Bilbao along the way) — I became a mum to my daughter Romy just after turning 50. I'm a single mum by choice, and it's honestly been the most unexpected, imperfect, and wonderful journey of my life. I'm now creating a podcast called Finding Romy, telling that story properly and honestly — the decision, the research, the setbacks, the science, the birth, and what life looks like now as an "older" single mum. . My hope is that it inspires other women in this position not to give up on becoming a mum, whatever their age or path looks like. But I don't want it to just be my story. I'd love to feature other women's journeys too — the wins, the losses, the weird in-between moments, the things nobody warns you about. If you've got a story you'd be open to sharing, whatever stage you're at or however it turned out, I'd be so grateful to hear from you. Comment below if you'd like to chat about being part of it. Xoxo
