I currently have the mirena coil in and have had it fitted for 5 years now. It's been an absolute life saver for me with my PCOS and extremely heavy random bleeding. I had it fitted 5 years ago due to this reason and not being able to cope much more.
I'm now 35 and feel like we need to have it removed to give it one last chance of trying for another baby. I have PCOS and have been offered letrazole but obviously the mirena coil needs to be removed.
Has anyone with PCOS had this removed and what should i expect. Will my bleeding go straight back to what it was like previously? I know everyone is different but I'm just wonderinf what to expect after removal with PCOS?
If anyone has any advice or stories I would be grateful.
