Really struggling at the moment so just want to get my thoughts out and seeing if anyone else is in the same position. Been trying for 2 years. Got pregnant second cycle but had a chemical pregnancy at 5.5 weeks. Nothing since which has really chipped away at me. Was still feeling positive up until 14 months or so and then my positivity just fell off a cliff.

took a while to get my husband to get tested as he was going through some difficult family issues but he’s been tested and is absolutely fine.

friends are all pregnant or have had kids so feel very left out. In that grey area of where it could happen but seems very unlikely without help. Even my infertility friends have now also got pregnant.

just turned 34 so starting to panic. Been told by nhs that I’m on the list to be referred to fertility clinic but it’s 6 months wait before I’ll even be offered an appointment so could be months after that until I hear.

just feeling very sad and not sure where to turn.

Yes I feel exactly the same but I’m 36 so feel even less hopeful that it’ll happen for me. On the waitlist for fertility and have been since February. it says average of 34 week wait. Feel pretty disillusioned by it all.

No advice but just to say you are not alone❤️TTC for 2 years, have had ectopic & chemical. Majority of friends all have babies or young children and I feel so out of place and desperate to be part of that club. Am currently going through ovulation induction via NHS, the wait was frustrating but what I would say is once they see you for the first appointment the ball does get rolling re testing and treatment plan / follow ups🙏 Hang in there, I know how emotionally draining it is xx

It is an absolutely shit place to be. Have you had any testing yourself? Our NHS would accept private results if done within a year, which then hugely sped stuff up after the initial consultation (basically them opening our case).
