Going into transfer next month with my one euploid.. have I covered everything or any other tests you’d recommend? Have mild adenomyosis too.

Hello ladies.. seeking advice here..
I am going into a transfer next month of my only known euploid (have 2 other blastocysts untested) Planning a modified natural cycle with trigger then added progesterone.
Im 40, have mild adenomyosis. The doctor didn’t suggest down regulation.
i have a hysteroscopy this week to check for scarring and polyps after a couple of failed transfers before.
i’m taking blood thinners already but what else would you ladies suggest?
Any tests I should do? Heard mixed reviews on immunology testing.. if I was to do one what should it be?
also for my mild adenomyosis my doctor just suggested extra progesterone but that’s it. Do you think that’s okay? What have you all done when you’ve had mild adenomyosis?
I heard taking progesterone in the luteal phase the month before transfer could help too but not sure if that’s a thing??
Thanks in advance!

I have adenomyosis as well it was discovered recently but gynaecologist said I’ve probably had it for years. My first euploid is one soon I didn’t do any additional tests or anything like that and it worked . Best of luck hope all goes well for you .

Good luck. Just transferred an euploid today. I’m petrified of it not working

PlanBFertility26 · 13/06/2026 16:07

@TheIceBear had you transferrrd others prior to your euploid?

TheIceBear · 13/06/2026 17:13

No I hadn’t . I tried for over 3 years with no hint of a bfp apart from one missed miscarriage which I had after getting pregnant after a sis test which is like a hsg test . Got pregnant cycle of the test and lost baby at 11 weeks . I sometimes wonder did the sis test make the lining more receptive because it was strange it was the very cycle I got pregnant after trying for a year . That pregnancy was chromosomally abnormal because I did the nipt and got results around time I miscarried . So I don’t know if it was crap eggs or lining or what it was . I was 34. Eventually did ivf at 37 and got 2 euploids and the first worked . Gynaecology consultant who diagnosed my adenomyosis after said I would have had it long before the ivf . He said it is generally not a cause of infertility when I asked . I was on a heap of stuff like injected progesterone and cyclogest before the transfer but it wasn’t anything different from what other people would be on, just the usual stuff really.

@PlanBFertility26 have you had any transfers ? I went straight for pgta cos of my miscarriage. Best of luck to you.

PlanBFertility26 · 13/06/2026 17:42

@TheIceBear this is my 4th. 8th cycle of IVF. Out of my 4 transfers, one was a positive but miscarried. And then two BFNs. Lots of pressure

Hey!! It sounds like you've got a lot of things covered. I also have adenomyosis. I'd maybe ask about down reg though. For my next transfer I'm doing three weeks of down reg. I've done two transfers already (one chemical and one loss at 10 weeks) and didn't have down reg for those but I've changed clinic now who think down reg is worthwhile for someone with Endo and adenomyosis. Best of luck x
