June IVF/FET 👶 🌟 ❤️

Hi,

Wondering if anyone due a FET or starting IVF in June? Would be nice to speak to those in similar position.

This will be my 8th round of IVF -
Cycle 1 and 2 - No fertilisation
Cycle 3 - 3 blasts

• fresh #1 miscarriage at 7wks
• frozen #2 BFN
• Frozen#3 BFN

Cycle 4 - 4 blasts, 2 of which euploid.

Starting with my next period around the 22nd May

@KP1091 its risen from 32 to 36. So no improvement.

@Lucky444 he’s said this would be our last as all in all this will be our 8th cycle (including EC, transfers etc)

@PlanBFertility26I’m so sorry. Would you consider getting a second opinion or having a review at another clinic? How far are you from London?

I’m so very sorry to hear your news @PlanBFertility26 💔 I hope you can be really kind to yourself and let your partner look after you too.

I’m sorry your next steps aren’t straightforward either. This ‘journey’ can be so lonely and it’s hard when you’re not on the same page as your partner about something that you’re both going through!

@SlightlyTerrifiedButPolite i live in the midlands. I’m very happy with my clinic. They’re amazing. Sometimes, unfortunately IVF doesn’t work.

What I would say it’s taught me is that staring at piss on a stick is a waste of time. Some of mine are dark, some are light. But I have over the threshold for all the tests in my blood so should be showing up.

Once you get that positive ladies, enjoy it. Have beta bloods. I’ve wasted the last 12 days panicking and not just enjoying my short lived pregnancy

@PlanBFertility26 this next one might be your lucky one. I really really hope that is the case. The embryo we used was our last one and my OH and I had a very emotional conversation about what would happen next if this wasn’t to work. She’s happy with 1 child, I’m not. It’s hard to describe that feeling of having that experience ripped away from you and never knowing that that was my last time with my DS. It’s like grief. I was inconsolable and eventually she agreed one more EC if it was to come to that. Let the dust settle and really sit him down and tell him how life changing that would be for you. I’m sure he’ll come around. More than anything, I think they just don’t want to see us go through so much hurt. Watching the aftermath of our MMC and 2x surgical evacs took a huge toll on my OH and sometimes we lose sight of that when we want something so desperately.

my line is progressing nicely this morning , I’m not getting ahead of myself but it’s reassuring 🥰

Best of luck to everyone that is still PUPO it’s hard to keep track of where everyone is up to . Symptoms are definitely not reliable, hope everyone is doing okay 🤞🏼

@PlanBFertility26 can I ask if you’ve been using your own eggs and if you would consider egg donation? I’m not saying it’s the next step but maybe just keeping the door ajar in some way? Xxx

thats a really good way of explaining implantation and I felt exactly the same. It was like an unmistakable burrowing/pulling sensation. I haven’t had it yet and I’m just so nervous this hasn’t worked, again. ET was Tuesday.

i thought I was over and out in April but there was an unforeseen change and I was able to do this cycle. I’m 53 trying for a sibling with DE/DS. Keep some light ahead today in your hearts if you can xxx

@Lucky444 that’s a lovely line! I’ve talked myself down from the ledge too. I’m pretty happy with my line this morning. Like PlanB said, I’m going to just try and enjoy it.. no more scouring the internet to compare lines. 🙏🏼

They are very strong lines, much stronger than mine are! I have found a post though from someone else's line progression and mine are the same as hers so far so 🤞🏻

My test is positive this morning albeit not a super strong line. My clinic have just called and offered me a blood test so heading there now. They said that if they are happy with levels then no need to repeat but if too low then repeat on Monday. Will find out tonight x

I had my second lining scan today and I’m at 7.5mm so transfer is booked for next Friday, finally! Feels like this has taken foreverrr, and now I’m worried my last little embryo won’t survive the thaw 😩

Also scared to start Lubion on Sunday after everyone’s stories!

Don’t be scared! I’m sorry we scared you 😂 but honestly I felt better right after the transfer, I felt like there was more of a purpose for it and now I got used to it. The progesterone definitely helped balance the estrogen for me and I can’t recommend acupuncture enough if you haven’t already tried it. I don’t know about success rates but it helped so much to be calm and at peace the next few days after transfer.

@PlanBFertility26 give your husband time. Initially mine said no more and then changed his mind. They process things differently to us.

my beta came back as higher but still not the number they were hoping for so back for another on Monday
